Meet the Company

Under the leadership of Richard Bratt, Glenbrook Glass Inc. has become a leading authority in shower doors and mirrors, specializing in custom designs. Free estimates are provided to new and returning customers, with priority given to serious inquiries. The company offers services to both new construction and renovation projects. Although shower doors and mirrors are the specialty of Glenbrook Glass Inc. this doesn't stop the company from completing unique and custom glass for all customers.

Richard alone has over 40 years of lifetime experience in the glass business, with the company's combined experience amounting to 120 years. Based in Highland Park for the past 24 years, the company serves the entire Chicagoland area.

  • Richard Bratt first picked up trades while in high school at Glenbrook South. After graduating, he learned everything there is to know about the glass business from the best in the industry in Illinois and temporarily took his skills to California with his wife, Maria. Once back in Illinois, he took inspiration from his Alma Mater and established Glenbrook Glass Inc. in 2000. Since then, Rich has built long-term, loyal partnerships with builders, contractors, architects, and designers and has continued to foster these relationships. His eye for detail, precision, and accuracy are valued by the business and by his customers.

  • Maria Bratt’s expertise came from her time studying interior design and architecture at Mundelein College and working as a designer here in Illinois and California. While raising their two children with Rich, Maria transitioned to working part-time for the company from its inception until 2016, when she joined him as a full-time partner. Her design experience gave her the knowledge to become a project estimator, customer liaison, and researcher. She adores her customers and welcomes the opportunity to assist in problem-solving.

    Emma is the social media manager who uses her writing expertise to help with the company website. She is a communication expert who has been with the company since 2022.

  • Floriberto Garcia

    Floriberto is a lead fabricator and installer who was trained by Richard. He is a shower door and glazing expert who has been with the company since 2007.

  • Adrian Alvarez

    Adrian is a lead fabricator and installer who was trained by retired employee, Michael Fishkin. He is a shower door expert who has been with the company since 2015.

  • Raymundo Diaz

    Raymundo is an installer who was trained by co-workers Adrian and Floriberto. He is an overall assistant who has been with the company since 2016.

  • Eduardo Morales

    Eduardo is a part-time lead fabricator and installer who was trained by Richard. He is a fabrication and glazing expert who has been with the company since 2005.

    David is a lead fabricator and installer who joined the company as an experienced glass installer. He is a glazing expert who has been with the company since 2011.
